Poll Results January 27, 2012 12:00 AM | Tagged as murder, Richard III, Shakespeare
Well, this month is over and the results of the poll question for December and January are extremely close! I am a bit disappointed that so many feel Richard III is guilty of his nephew’s murder but at least he didn’t come out in first place! As of today, Jan 31st , the results were:
RichardIII-162
Henry VII-164
Duke of Buckingham-170
Lord Stanley-162

Such an innocent face, how could he be guilty????

I guess the results of this poll means I will have to keep up the battle to try to convince you that Richard could not have done something this heinous. Either way, thanks for participating in the poll! A new poll will be up on Feb 1st when we start our next month’s play. It will be a romantic one since it is February, and to celebrate Valentine’s Day!  That way we can celebrate all month long!

Let’s have one more Richard III trivia question before the month is over though. If you know the answer, email it to me at leslie@charmedbyshakespeare.com for a chance to win the Richard III charm. Thanks for playing along! Here is the question:
Who was Richard talking about when he said this; “Let him thank me that holp (helped) to send him thither, For he was fitter for that place than earth.”
