Favorite Quotes and Trivia Question #2 February 6, 2012 12:00 AM | Tagged as contest, cupid, Love, Much Ado About Nothing, quotes, Shakespeare, Valentine

Some of my FAVORITE quotes from Much Ado...plus the next Triva Question

I have a really hard time picking out some of my favorite quotes from some plays and Much Ado... is one of them.  So instead of just one, I have listed a few and I will add more each week.  If you have a favorite, let me know!!!

Some Cupid kills with arrows, some with traps. (Act iii scene 1)

"Sigh no more, ladies, sigh no more,
Men were deceivers ever,-
One foot in sea and one on shore,
To one thing constant never."
- (Act ii scene 3)

“Friendship is constant in all other things
Save in the office and affairs of love:
Therefore all hearts in love use their own tongues;
Let every eye negotiate for itself
And trust no agent."
-Act ii scene1
Trivia question#2:
Now that you are really in a "Much Ado..." kind of mood, try your luck with this weeks trivia question:

Who knowingly laid the trap against Hero, so Claudio would denounce her in public?

Email your answers to me at leslie@charmedbyshakespeare.com .  All correct answers will be entered in a drawing for this months play of the month charm!  Good Luck!
